There is no place, at any ski area in America, where the ratio of great value for good food to the distance to amazing skiing is better than at Dave's Deli.
$4 for a"Rad Muffin" with egg (english muffin, egg, cheese, ham slice); $1.25 for a hard boiled egg; $1 for an orange, $1 for a hunk of cheese, $2 for a hunk of salami, $7 for a really tasty freshly made sandwich (tuna or ham or salami or meatloaf of chix salad).

Such an incredible resource for serious Squaw skiers. -

WOW the prices here are only what you would expect for mountain rip offs... unlike everything else at squaw which was double the price.
My buddy Aaron and I came here to ski the day away... when we got hungry, we ended up here after wandering through all of the super overpriced stuff nearby. I was just happy to not find something double this price here.
I got the chili and my buddy got a sammie. We then went around the corner and ate it at the bar with a beer. My chili was so-so and my buddy thought the same thing for his sammie. For under $8 each, it was seriously reasonably priced here.
The service was as expected and with a smile. So overall not bad not great, but the best around the base of squaw... -

Great homestyle grab-n-go options. The "Fat Kid" sandwich and pesto pasta are my favorites. This is a great pit stop for those who plan on spending all day on the mountain. It's a bit cheaper than the rest of the village. The cinnamon rolls are a great breakfast too.

Very popular meeting place; reasonable food prices; bar. Sandwiches and limited hot food. Free coffee. Inside small; adjacent bar upstairs open past 4pm. Great people working here very friendly. Closest restaurant when you ski with fresh the mountain. Great food; homemade; not too salty or sweet.

First time here and I tried their chicken sandwich and fries. My wife said the fries were good. I had the chicken sandwich which by the way cost $15.00. It came with a small chicken breast , a piece of lettuce, 1 slice tomato and cheddar cheese on a small regular hamburger bun. The chicken was extremely dried and the cheese appeared very old because the edges were dark yellow. Lesson learned. I'll go to the other eateries available at the resort.
